You can make all of your travel plans and make your vacation itinerary with ease. I recently went to San Francisco and got my flight and hotel for much less than I imagined. I also got tickets to Alcatraz and made a few reservations at restaurants that were recommended to me. It's a common complaint that traveling is a hassle. It certainly can be, but they make it simple.

With the wintery weather in the east coast, it got me thinking about the best warm weather travel destinations in the country. California, Florida, and Arizona immediately come to mind, but there are so many places out there that I've never been to. Do you guys have recommendations for some lesser-known, warm-weather vacation spots in the U.S.?

I know what you're thinking, "Baseball tickets now?". YES. It might not be baseball season yet. It's not even spring training yet. But it IS time to get Phillies tickets! With the addition of Cliff Lee the Phillies are poised to make a World Series run and tickets are selling out fast. If you want to get the best seats at the cheapest price, it's better to plan ahead! If you're not from Philly, here's a little tidbit, this town likes its baseball.

With the snow on the ground I'm just dreaming about the day I can head over to Citizens Bank Park in the bright sunshine and watch a game. My tickets have gotten me that much closer. Get yours soon!

With great service, wonderful food, and some of the best drinks in the city, Nodding Head has become one of the most popular pubs in all of Philadelphia. 

Try their famous pulled pork sandwich and kick back and enjoy yourself in this laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Sunday Brunch is also out of this world. Visiting the Franklin Institute

If you're looking for things to do in Philadelphia, make time to visit the Franklin Institute Science Museum.

The museum is broken up into four parts, the first being home to a 30-ton statue of Benjamin Franklin. Make your way to the second main portion of the museum, a technology-themed, hands-on display area that is filled with everything from an enormous walk-through heart, to a hair-raising Van de Graaf generator. See the amazing light shows, liquid air, and the Discovery Theater. You can also head to the awe-inspiring Fels Planetarium and space station. It's out of this world!

The third portion of the Franklin Institute is the Mandell Futures Center. This beautiful atrium is filled with cafes, ticket counters, interactive exhibits, or venture over to the IMAX arena. If you're hungry, then this is the spot to come to while you're here.

Finally, the fourth section is the CoreStates Science Park, which was a collaboration with the Please Touch Museum, located at Memorial Hall. This lush, urban garden is home to high-tech jungle gyms, including a step-on organ and a high-wire tandem bicycle. 

Whether you're on a family vacation or on a solo business trip, there's something for everyone here. If you want to be amazed, don't miss the Franklin Institute!

Elfreth's Alley

Located in Philadelphia's historical Old City neighborhood, Elfreth's Alley is a National Historic Landmark and the oldest residential street in America. In the midst of the eclectic art galleries, coffee shops, and great restaurants, the 33 houses in Elfreth's Alley were built prior to our nation’s birth.

Thousands of visitors to stroll along the cobblestone street each year and look at the amazing 18th century homes, which are still private residences today. Elfreth's Alley is a National Historic Landmark District, and one of the first districts that celebrates the lives of Americans past and present.

Electric Factory

The Electric Factory has been Philadelphia's premier indoor music venue for over 40 years. It's been a fan favorite because it continually hosts artists from all genres of music and famous entertainment acts from around the globe.

The standing-room-only facility can hold between 2,500 and 3,000 people. Rock, hip-hop, electronic, metal, alternative, and indie acts play every week, and because of the wealth of artists that play, the Electric Factory has gained a reputation as being one of the elite indoor music venues in the country.
